It s Le Carre Jim, But not as we know it - Hmm, where to start. Buy this book if: You really want all Le Carre s books, You want a story unlike any other Le Carre book, no other reason. Really seems like a first novel that should never have been printed - or at least not under this pen name. For me it spoils the Le Carre image of meticulous research, twisting plots and page turning compulsion - the only reason I want to keep page turning is to finish the book, not complete the story, sorry John. I m sure, noting that this book was written in (or before) 1971, anyone wishing to read a book showing thoughts of this time will be impressed with the way that the thoughts of the main characters are represented.
